Welcome

This site brings together two things that have nothing to do with each other on paper: an astrophotography gallery and a personal blog.

On the sky side, a deep-sky gallery shot from the backyard in Normandy - planets, nebulae, galaxies, each photo with its gear and shooting conditions, plus a page tracking my progress through the Messier catalogue. On the ground side, a personal blog about my day job as a cloud native developer, and a few more personal posts that have nothing to do with code.

On the technical side: the site is static, built with Astro, no database or app server - just pre-generated HTML files hosted on plain shared hosting. I built it with Claude Code. The full list of what runs under the hood is on the Built with page.
